This anime follows the story of a silver curly-haired samurai -
Sakata Gintoki, who is just trying to make it by in a new era of
Japan that has been invaded by alien outsiders (The Amanto)..
Gintoki, along with 2 fellow youngsters he saves from the Amanto -
Kagura and Shimpachi- start an "odd jobs" business in their home
town of Kabuki. The trio meet many people along the way; saving
some, doing favors for others, all while cracking jokes the whole
time.
This anime is pure Gold. If you are the type who likes adult jokes,
breaking of the fourth wall or enjoys shows like south park,
American Dad, The Simposons, The office etc, you'll defintly enjoy
this anime. But be warned, while this anime contains mainly humor,
it's not a tool only used for comedic relic. It also carries a
strong plot and crazy action that will leave you begging for more.
