Reproduction:
Bunnies give birth to 3-7 baby bunnies per a year.
Young bunnies are often born blind and sometimes deaf and almost hairless. They can open their eyes after ten days and are weaned at about 25 days. A bunny can breed from the age of four months.

Diet:
Grasses, Cereal crops, root vegetables, and young meadow plants. In the winter, bunnies eat the barks of trees.

Habitat:

The most suitable habitat for a bunny are areas of short vegetation close to woodlands or banks suitable for borrows. Lighter soils and well drained grassland support numerous bunnies.

Predators:

Foxes, Weasels, Buzzards and badgers.

Status and Conservation:
Non native and common. No conservation listing.

GB population is 36,000,000. The population has increased over the last 25 years but has fallen significantly over the last ten years in Scotland.
