Reproduction:
Bunnies give birth to 3-7 baby bunnies per a
year. Young bunnies
are often born blind and sometimes deaf and almost hairless.
They can open their eyes after ten days and are weaned at about
25 days. A bunny can breed from the age of four months.
Diet:
Grasses, Cereal crops, root vegetables, and young meadow plants.
In the winter, bunnies eat the barks of trees.
Habitat:
The most suitable habitat for a bunny are areas of short
vegetation close to woodlands or banks suitable for borrows.
Lighter soils and well drained grassland support numerous
bunnies.
Predators:
Foxes, Weasels, Buzzards and badgers.

Conservation:
Non native and common.

over the last 25 years but has fallen significantly over the
last ten years in Scotland.
