Daisy & Gracie

Shown on the left is Daisy who was a pure pug. She was our second dog and we got her in 1999 when my brother was just one years old. She was a late Christmas present, because my godfather who also got me my dog scruffy was looking for a new dog as well. What better time than for both families to get pugs for Christmas! My godfathers family named their pug Sophie, in which Sophie & Daisy were from the same breed. Ever since then, both of our families have a crazy obsession with pugs and whenever we see a picture of one we make sure to send it to one another. Daisy was also a really good dog, who always made funny snorting noises and loved to beg for food. She lived until she was about 12 as well, and we had to put her down in 2010 when I was a sophomore in high school. To this day she is still my moms favorite dog and she is very well missed. Having a pug definitely was an influence to get a puggle within the same year she had passed away, but Bella was able to meet Daisy which was a nice memory.

Shown on the right is Gracie who is a pure boxer. She entered our family in 2003 when I was in third grade. My dad had randomly seen boxers for sale in the newspaper and immediately had to purchase one, hence how we got Gracie. Out of all our dogs, she was the most well behaved and always listened to everything we said. She was well trained and had such a cute and funny personality. When she was one year old making me in fourth grade, I was playing my clarinet in my kitchen and all of sudden heard a strange humming noise. I looked over and saw Gracie with her head perked up howling to the music, in which we made into one of her cute tricks where we told her to sing and she would! She always got along so well with all my other dogs and fun fact, she was the only one who lived during each of my dogs lifetimes. Unfortunately we had to recently put her down in October of 2016 and I miss her terribly.
