Welcome to the Puggle Page!
As of December 2016, we have two dogs living in our house named Bella and Ellie.
They are both puggles, which is a mixture of a beagle and a pug! Since previously owning a pure-bread pug we obviously fell in love so making the decision of which dog to have next wasn't so difficult.

Bella (shown on the left) is the older of the two. Her birthday is 11/13/2010 making her 6 years old and we purchased her from a pet store called Shake-a-Paw in Lynbrook, NY.  I was a sophomore in high school when she entered our family and her
quirky personality has been a great addition ever since. She is definitely a funny one and loves to play, go for walks, and beg for food! Something that I love about her is how her eyes are always looking around even when her body is still,
making her look sneaky and up to no good, even though she is very innocent.

Ellie (shown on the right) is our youngest puppy who just recently turned 3 on December 3rd! She was also purchased from a Shake-a-Paw but in Hicksville NY. My family fell in love with the puggle breed and decided we needed another one in our household when I was a sophomore in college. My brother was looking on the Shake-a-Paw website one morning where they display photos of the puppies they have in store, and saw a picture of the most perfect puggle puppy who actually came with her name "Ellie Mae". It was that moment where my family decided to drive to Hicksville and pick her up. She was 8 weeks old and wasn't even in the pet store for 24 hours before we brought her home. Ever since then she's been such a happy puppy and gets along great with everyone in the house. One thing about her though, she does not like to eat! She is very high maintenance and will only eat if my mom hand feeds her. Also, she has a very unique bark where it almost sounds like a cry, and only does it for certain people such as of course my mom, our handy man, and my boyfriend. Her little face and cute personality makes it hard not to love her and cuddle her every time I walk in the door.
