 Skill and Fitness Based Competence
Physical Education teacher candidates are physically educated individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate competent movement performance and health enhancing fitness as delineated in the NASPE K-12 standards individuals

Description: This document is a personal nutrition analysis. You calculate the amount of calories you burn a day and the activities you can do to burn calories and how much time is needed to burn a certain amount of calories for that activity. There is also a nutrition log on what I eat on a good day or a bad day.
Connection to Standard: The nutrition document relates to this standard because it it shows the knowledge of health enhancing fitness.
Pedometer Graph.pdf 
Step_Rec.pdf
Description: The pedometer graph is a graph of how many steps a few people took while doing 4 different routes or types of walking. This shows that the activity walk of walking for a purpose to find words that start with the letters of the alphabet took the most steps and the least steps was the campus trail. The Step_Rec pdf is a sheet that explains exactly how to use the pedometer, the recommended steps per day and how important it is to be active in life.
Connected to Standard: These are connected to this standard because it shows the knowledge to demonstrate competent movement performance and health enhancing fitness.

Description: This is a list of ten activities for 4th graders to do while wearing a pedometer or a polar heart rate monitor.
Connected to Standard: This is related to standard one because it shows the knowledge and skills to demonstrate competent movement performance and health fitness. For example movements like running, walking, jump rope and other ways of moving.

Scientific and Theoretical Knowledge
Physical Education teacher candidates know and apply discipline specific scientific and theoretical concepts critical to the development of physically educated

Description: This shows how much daily activity you get in a typical weekday and a typical weekend. It gives suggestions on what you can do to have a healthier lifestyle as well.
Connection to Standard: It is a scientific fact that physical activity helps personal health. Since, the standard talks about scientific knowledge, this document relates because it shows the daily physical activity to become healthier.

Description: This is a general summary of my health risks without the in- depth details and feedback.
Connection to Standard: This document is related to this standard because  it is knowledge based on questions, therefore it is theoretical knowledge.
PE Log it
Description: This website inspires kids to be more active because if you have a pedometer you can log all your steps into this website. You can compete verse others kids on the website and compare your results to other students.
Connected to Standard: The website is related to this standard because this is a scientific concept of a website logging the steps of students with pedometers.
Standard 3
Planning and Implementation
Physical education teacher candidates plan and implement a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and content aligned with local state and national standards to develop physically educated individuals.

Description: The powerpoint describes what my teaching philosophy is and the rules and regulations of the classroom. It also includes my grading policy and annual curriculum.
Connection to Standard: This powerpoint is connected to the planning and implementation standard in NASPE because the powerpoint includes the annual curriculum, grading policy and after school activities.
Personal Profile.pdf
Description:
This is a document that includes the possible risks of getting a disease like diabetes or cancer. It also shows the results of drug use and safety. It gives nutrition tips and facts on how drugs are bad for ones health.
Connected to Standard:
This connects to the standard because it is a learning experience of what your health risks are and what you can do to be healthier.

Instructional Delivery and Management
Physical education teacher candidates use effective communication and pedagogical skills and strategies to enhance student engagement and learning.

Description: This brochure includes my mission statement as a PE teacher, my teaching philosophy and rules and regulations. It also includes my grading policy and annual curriculum among other things.
Connected to Standard: The brochure relates to this standard because it is giving instructional delivery to my students on how I teach, grade, and how I manage my class in terms of rules etc.

Impact on Student Learning
Physical education teacher candidates utilize assessments and reflection to foster student learning and inform instructional decisions.

Description: This document is a fitness test result. There is a chart with the numbers one each assessment like push-ups and lets you know if you are in the healthy fitness zone and how much improvement you need if any.
Connected to Standard: This connects to Standard 5 because this chart and different activities are used as an assessment to an individual.

Target Heart Rate Calculation.docx
Description: The intensity level documents are a test result of a heart rate during a low , medium and high intensity activity. The Target Heart Rate Calculation is a data table of my target heart rate based on weight and other categories that the website would want you to put it.
Connected to Standard: These documents are related to this standard because it is a way to asses the students. These are all assessments of a person doing different intensity activities and the difference of ones heart rate. It is also to calculate the target heart rate.

Professionalism
Physical education teacher candidates demonstrate dispositions essential to becoming effective professionals.

Description: A calendar with how many hours of activity you think you get in each day of the week. An average amount of minutes is also calculated and stated.
Connected to Standard: This relates to this standard because in order to show professionalism you must be consistent and have a schedule/plan of what you are to do.
