The most recent addition to the Adelphi University Sport Club Roster, is the Men's Volleyball Club. This club was established in January of 2009, in order to provide an opportunity to compete beyond the intramural level. This club participates in intra-squad scrimmages, and will eventually compete against other clubs and teams. For more information, please contact the Campus Recreation Office.

Since the start of the team, this club has scrimmaged Stony Brook University and St. John's University many times.  They are also planning to get their name out their more by inviting other schools to come down and play.  The team is showing great skill and competitiveness with a pretty even record.  They are currently run and coached by the students, but are in search of a full time coach to lead them to their ultimate goal of becoming a volleyball powerhouse.

The team currently does not participate in a league but still competes in both home and away games.  They also attend  different tournaments (see Tournaments Page).  They do hope to join the New England Intercollegiate Club Volleyball League (NECVL).
