and Jose Reyes. The Pitching staff is anchored by former Cy Young winner
Johan Santana. The team also has a veteran presence in slugger Carlos Delgado. The 2008 Mets had three potential MVP's and one Cy Young candidate. Despite finishing in a hard second place the last two seasons, the Mets took care of their problems in the bullpen and now have what it takes to Win it all in 2009.
