THE STUDIO
RPS has been offering the highest quality, private expert piano instruction in Suffolk County, Long Island since 2004. RPS is known for its modern, student-centered and encouraging teaching philosophy that combines solid technical knowledge with motivation and self-confidence building. RPS offers 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons each week to students of all ages and instruction levels.
THE TEACHER
Rhonda
Kremer, an experienced and highly regarded pianist and music educator,
studied at the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston and received
a Master’s in Music Education from Hofstra University. She was a
tenured elementary school music teacher in Long Island's North Merrick
school district for nearly a decade before establishing RPS in 2004. Rhonda’s
unique teaching style makes learning fun.
Rhonda is also a singer-songwriter who has played and sung in local restaurants and appeared as a featured musician at parties and other celebratory events. She is the mother of two teenagers and dedicates herself to helping her students get what they want out of lessons. The drudgery of the old school piano teacher has been replaced with the fun and excitement of her more modern, student-centered approach!
ANNUAL RECITAL
RPS holds an annual piano recital at which students can choose to share
some of what they have learned by performing for friends, relatives and
other invited guests. The Recital is a fun-filled event that delights
both students and guests.
