Born in Napoli, Italy,
Michele (Mike)
moved
to
the
United
States when he was 5. He
attended
H. Frank Carey High
School
and
was
a
member
of
the
varsity
soccer
team
for
5
years. He
later
attended Adelphi University where he
also
played soccer and won several championships. Soccer
is
what
he
explains
"ultimately
drew
me
to
become
a
Physical
Therapist." He graduated from Adelphi with
an Undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. From
there
he
took
a
semester
off
and
worked
with
several
Physical
Therapists
to
become
more
acquainted
with
the
field. Then
he
attended NYIT and graduated there with
a degree in Physical Therapy. "Helping
people has been part of my personality my whole life and my career
allows me to
do
so
everyday". |
Sal Intagliata PT.
D

Sal
Intagliata
was
born
in
Franklin
Square,
New
York.
He
also
attended
H.
Frank Carey High School and
was a 4 year member of the varsity baseball, football, and basketball
teams. He was a very talented athlete and also an excellent
student. He attended Stony Brook University where he was a
crucial member of the baseball team. Sal graduated from Stony
Brook Univeristy with an Undergraduate degree in Health Science.
He then was drafted my the Baltimore Orioles where he played baseball
for several years. He later attended Stony Brook University's PT
school and graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy.

Dan Larenius PTA

Dan
Larenius
was
born
in
Ekero,
Sweden
and
came
to
the
United
States
in
2008
to
join
Adelphi Universities soccer team. Dan was a four year
member of the Adelphi Men's soccer team and graduated from Adelphi with
an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. He is currently
taking night classes at NYIT from Physical Therapy. He is a
Physical Therapy Assistant and is very knowledgable in the field.

Mazen Chami PTA

Mazen Chami was born in Ohio, and
moved to Nigeria at a very young age. He returned to the United
States and attended Stony Brook University. He is very
knowledgeable with computers and technological equipment.
He is incharge of all the equipment available in the office and is a
very knowledgeable PTA who is great with our patients.

Michelle Ceraso
Secretary

Michelle Ceraso is a very bright
woman. She also attended Adelphi University and was a member of
the womens lacrosse team where she won several national
championships. She was an Elementary Education Major and was a
teacher for 15 years. She is married to PT MikeAquino. She
is very good with the paper work that our patients need and knows
everything about insurance policies and the policies of United Physical
Therapy. She is a great asset to United Physical Therapy.

Mariel Wenzel

Mariel Wenzel is the Health
Specialist of United Physical Therapy. She attended Adelphi
University and along with Michelle Ceraso was a memeber of the Adelphi
womens lacrosse team. Mariel majored in Health Studies at Adelphi
and assists patients who are interested in losing weight and becoming
healthier. She has a great nutritional program which is sponsored
by United Physical Therapy. Mariel also assists Michelle Ceraso
at the front desk.
