Gerard Way
(lead singer)
King of hairstyles. This man has gone through so many
different hair colors, outfits, and looks, yet somehow he has
pulled every single one off. Has an amazing voice, is a
fantastic artist, and loves wrecking me emotionally through
his passionate lyrics. Since the breakup, Gerard has focused
on making art, launching his solo career, and avoiding any
MCR5 talk.
Mikey Way
(bass guitar)
Younger brother to Gerard, extremely talented bassist. Though
Gerard was the brains behind the start of the band, Mikey
worked at Eyeball Records at the time, and was able to finesse
a record deal. Problematic, and definitely one of the main
reasons the band broke up, but you knew that already. Despite
this, he was the inspiration for one of MCR's greatest songs,
"Ghost of You". Post breakup, Mikey has been focusing on
raising a family with his new wife.
Frank Iero
(rhythm
guitarist)
Although he looks hardcore, he is actually the sweetest
man alive. Happily married with three children, Frank has
been in more bands than even he can count. He often sang
backup vocals for Gerard, while simultaneously shredding
on guitar. After MCR split up, Frank launched a new
project called Frank Iero and the Patience, and has been
touring ever since.
Ray Toro
(lead
guitarist)
So majestic and friendly! Also has the greatest hair I've
ever seen on a man. Is responsible for so many impossibly
awesome guitar riffs. The more reserved of the group, post
breakup Ray has kept to himself, occasionally tweeting
about politics and sharing new music.
