Life off the Court/Summary
LeBron works just as hard
off the court as he does on the court. He is known as
one of the most influential athletes in the entire
world. He has gained considerable wealth from many
endorsement deals and has never had any off court issues
with the law and rather is very proactive in his community.
He has his own charity called the LeBron James Family
Foundation which is based in his hometown Akron, Ohio and
has also partnered with the university to provide
scholarships for over 2,000 students. This year,
LeBron opened up an elementary school called the "I Promise
School" which helps elementary school students stay in
school and to retain information easier and said that this
was the most important thing he's ever done. Some of
his endorsement deals include Nike, Coca-Cola,
McDonald's and Samsung. He currently holds the title
as the Vice President of the National Basketball Players
Association. James has taken stances to affect change
on certain issues regarding race and police brutality.
LeBron James has been compared to the greatest basketball
player ever in Michael Jordan but the more LeBron plays, he
could be the greatest of all time.
