ABOUT
DR.
KELLY Dr.
Kelly's research interests are investigating civic readiness and
engagement among disconnected youth and families/communities
at-risk. The goal of her work is to diminish social isolation and
feelings of exclusion to ensure that most individuals, groups and
communities are engaged in sustaining and governing their own
society. As a
Fahs-Beck
Fellow (2007-2008), Dr. Kelly
explored the civic legacy of the Civil Rights Era. In addition,
she received a grant from the Center for Information and Research on
Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE)
to
explore the civic attitudes of young adults of
color. Contact Dr. Kelly at Kelly5@adelphi.edu or her Graduate Assistant at Kellyassistant@gmail.com for additional information or her CV. |
