GPU
The GPU (Graphics processing unit) ,aka the
graphics card, is the part of the PC where all the graphics are
lies when gaming. It's job is to execute the creation of images on
the monitor that you see on your monitor. Since you are buying a
whole unit that is dedicated to the PC this will greatly improve
your performance in games. If a GPU was not bought then the stress
would be on the CPU which is also executing other commands while
processing images. If a game is very graphic intensive then odds
are you will need a good GPU to withstand the load. GPU tend to be
the most expensive part of your build since your goal is to build
a PC that can run games without any problems. Again there are two
main competitors for GPUs which are Nvidia and AMD.
