John Locke

John Locke, most often referred to by his surname "Locke", is a fictional character on the ABC television
series Lost played by Terry O'Quinn. Although he typically has a calm demeanor on the island, his flashbacks
portray him as angrier and more emotional. He is the antithesis to Jack Shepard. Locke is crippled and in a
wheel chair before he gets on the island, but mysteriously directly after the crash, Locke can walk.
Locke is the main provider of meat to the survivors. He hunts for wild boar. He is one of the only,
if not the only survivor that does not want to leave the island because on the island he is someone better than
he is when he is in the regular world.
