What is Wernicke's Aphasia?
Individuals with Wernicke's Aphasia lack the ability to grasp and
understand the meaning of spoken words and sentences; however, they
have no trouble producing speech, but their speech can be
meaningless. It is also known as Fluent or Receptive Aphasia.
Symptoms Include:
Jargon (combining real and made up words)
Have good grammar and syntax
Good intonation
Impaired comprehension
etc.
