Chocolate Tart:
- Enjoy a crunchy chocolate crust with a ganache filling that is
topped off with berries
Ingredients:
- 32 Oreo cookies
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter (melted)
![chocolate tart](Chocolate%20Tart.jpg)
- 12 ounces of dark chocolate chips
- Mixed berries (of your choice)
- Powdered sugar
- 1 cup of heavy cream
Instructions:
- Place Oreo's into a food processor and blend the Oreo's until
they become fine crumbs. Pour the melted butter over the crushed
cookies and pulse it until the butter is evenly distributed
throughout the Oreo crumbs. Press the cookie crumbs into a tart
pan using the back of a measuring cup and your fingers. Then
either place it into the fridge or freezer while the filling is
being prepared.
- In a saucepan, heat the cream over a medium-low heat until
tiny bubbles form around the edge of the pan. Remove the
saucepan from the heat and pour it over the chocolate chips and
leave it alone for about 2 minutes and then stir it until the
cream is all blended with the chocolate.
- Pour the ganache filling over the crust and place it back into
the fridge for cooling for at least 3-4 hours or even overnight.
- Pop out the edges of the tart pan before serving and place it
onto a plate with berries topped on it and powdered sugar
sprinkled onto it. Cut it into small slices and enjoy the
richness taste of your very own chocolate tart.
