Our Mission
This includes three main sections- To train along with a multi-ethnic corps of professional dancers with respect and appreciation; to educate others on the art of movement and the need for live performance; and collaborate with other art forms.

Our dancers rise to the challenge of displaying powerful physical demands in correlation of expressing emotions

The Founder:

Elisa    Elisa Monte was born in Brooklyn New York on May 23, 1946. She had connections with many major dance artists which includes Agnes DeMille. She was a principal dancer for Martha Graham, and a company member in Pilobolus and Lar Lubovitch. Her first piece "Treading" was created in 1981 along with the start of her own company. Alvin Aliey another upcoming choreographer at the time quickly brought this piece to his dancers and even commissioned Monte to make a second piece called "Pigs and Fishes".
