CSC 160 Announcements
1/1/06: The first class is on Thursday January 26.
1/31/06: Homework 2 has been shortened (exercise 1.2.1 has been
removed).
1/31/06: Quiz #1 will be on Thursday February 9th during lab time.
2/9/06: Quiz #2 will be on Thursday February 23rd during lab time.
2/16/06 8pm: An e-mail was sent to the
class.
2/16/06: I will be holding a makeup office hour from 1-2pm on Monday
February 20th. Feel free to drop by with any questions or
difficulties.
2/21/06: Please read the following article
on Pair Programming for Thursday's class. Sorry it is longer than I
thought. In spite of that, this reading assignment should not take more
than 20 minutes. If it does, please let me know.
2/23/06: The due date for HW4 is postponed to Sunday
March 5th at 11:59pm. Make sure you submit an Interactions Window
which includes two tests for every new Scheme function you wrote as
part of the animation.
2/23/06: Quiz #2 is postponed to Tuesday February 28th during lab
time.
3/2/06: The midterm exam will be on Thursday March 23rd.
3/14/06: The triangle-draw
function on the website has been corrected. (The previous version did
not work because draw-solid-line0 requires a color as the last
argument.)
3/20/06: You need to understand all of these terms and
concepts that may be on the midterm.
3/23/06: For students who received less than 80 on the
midterm, I have posted some extra credit
problems due on Sunday April 2nd.
3/26/06: This assignment was modified on Sunday 3/26 at 9pm.
3/27/06: Quiz #3 will be on Thursday April 6th during lab time.
4/6/06: Revisions (to all questions but #2) due Monday April 10th (NOT the
17th) at 11:59 p.m.
4/6/06: Quiz #3 is postponed to Thursday April 20th during
lab time.
4/20/06: Quiz #4 will be on Tuesday May 2nd during
lab time.
4/20/06: The university has scheduled a regular class on
Thursday May 11th
(Emergency/Study Day) to makeup for the cancelled class on March 2nd.
Attendance is required!
4/27/06: The final exam will be on Tuesday May
16th at 3:30 p.m. in our usual classroom.
