Judgement Quest: Knighthood Adventure (JQ:KA) is a solitaire roguelike game, featuring a 27-room dungeon, random quests, items, spells, evil creatures, and an optional victory point scoring system and campaign mode. The rules are quick to learn and easy to remember based on mnemonics incorporated throughout the game. Games typically last between 5 and 15 minutes (including setup time).
This game may be played with different sets of equipment. The card-based version only requires a standard deck of (52) playing cards, although custom artwork cards are also available, and components such as dice or tokens may be incorporated as desired. The roll-and-write (dice-and-paper) version requires a pencil and eraser, a printed game sheet, and either a D6 and a D12 (a 6-sided and a 12-sided die) or two D6s.
