Dance?
Bollywood Fusion dance refers to the genre of
dance
typically danced to Bollywood music. Bollywood is
the
world's largest film producing industry and is
based out of
Mumbai, India. Each Bollywood movie is a musical,
a whimsical
mix of song, dance and drama. Bollywood dance is
considered a
fusion style because it borrows bits and pieces
from every genre
of dance from hip hop to ballet to Indian folk
dances. Each Bollywood
Fusion routine is a cultural experience like no

Who is AU Sapna?
AU Sapna is Adelphi University's first and only Bollywood Fusion
Dance team.
Started in 2011, this team has grown tremendously. Initially
only performing at on campus
events, this team has now placed top inter-collegiate
Bollywood dance competitions, such as
Naach Inferno, Naach Nation and Sholay. Every Sapna brings
something unique to this team in
terms of their backgrounds in dance and personally. In Hindi,
Sapna means "Dream" and we
feel this name is perfect because every Sapna dares to dream
and dreams to dance.
