Otto is an
11-year-old boy living in Ocean Shores with his older
sister, Reggie, and their widowed father, Raymundo. He is
a skilled, prodigious and highly competitive athlete who has won
numerous competitions in skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding.
He's also very handy with a bicycle, with roller blades, and is
captain of the youth league street hockey team he shares with
Reggie, his best friend, Twister, and the newcomer, Sam. Otto's best friend
and partner in crime. Twister is not exactly the sharpest tool in
the shed as he's known for being somewhat of a dimwit and is often
slow on the uptake. Despite that the character has been Known to
be clever from time to time
Sammy (Sam) Dullard is a very smart and intelligent kid who despite
being the same age as Twister and Otto is one grade above. He is
typically acts as the voice of conscience and common sense for the
group with his fears and his intelligent analysis usually keeping
the other kids out of serious danger.
Otto's tomboyish and responsible 12-year
old sister. Reggie is an aspiring author and publisher who writes
a blog-like magazine called "The Zine" and is hoping to start her
own publishing business someday.
A
retired Hawaiian surfer and self-styled philosopher who helps
his old friend Raymundo run his business and give the kids
helpful advice
