Game of Thrones uses many locations to film. The
reason for this being that the Seven Kingdoms all have very
different locations and scenery. Game of Thrones has been filmed
in Iceland, Ireland, Croatia, Malta, Spain, and Morocco. A
majority has been filmed in Iceland, and Ireland, while places
like Spain are used in the cities in the show that are less
seen, such as Dorne.
Popular tourist attractions in many of these places are
tours of the filming location.
