Berthel is more then just a super hero. He's the RHD of Chapman Hall"
It all started in the Fall Semester of 2008. One man with a vision
changed Adelphi University forever. Ideas of having more eco-friendly
dormitories cascaded into a campus wide effort of "GOING GREEN".
Starting with Chapman Hall as his central hub, Michael Berthel lead the
newly developed Green Community in an effort to making Adelphi
University more environmentally friendly. Throughout the school year,
Michael and his staff constructed workshops for the Chapman Hall
residents. Teaching them the "environmentally freindly" way to save
energy and recycle. As the Spring semester of 2009 came to a
conclusion, Michael Berthel appointed the 2nd floor of Chapman Hall to
be the "Green Community". For the Fall semester of 2009, this floor
will have meetings and come up with new measures for saving our Earth
and making Adelphi University as eco-friendly as possible.
