As some may know we had a shoot planned for "Its So Clear" for a couple
of months now and we thought the day would never come to get this video
on the road. Conflicting schedules and everything considered we finally
agreed on a perfect / not so perfect day. The rain wasn't fun but you
know what? It somewhat created an aura and set a mood for all of us.
Well anyways the shoot went great and the video is now in its editing
stages. I can't wait to see the final product and you will be the 1st
to know when it is all done. We took a ton of pics and behind the
scenes videos (thanks Michelle) that I will post throughout the day so
keep an eye out.
Well it won't be long until you hear from me again.

So, I posted a song were working on. We played it last night at Stony
Brook but way more upbeat. Great show FYI. I can't wait to do more!
Umm, so as of right now, The Given Motion is seriously gonna sit down
and write some more songs starting with this one. Some live videos are
to come from the SBU show and especially our official video that is
soon to be shot. - CJ

Ahh
September
is
almost
over.. (C.J.)
So, after last
night's practice we have a few more songs
coming. One being a major gut wrencher. It's something I've been
working on lyrically since June and some times in order for things to
sound the way you want it to sound, it takes time. Things happen,
things change, words change... I think you'll be impressed. It's
definitely one of my favorite chorus' I've ever written. It's extremely
true and real to it's meaning, and more so I love singing it... and I
really look forward to playing it at our next show in October at Stony
Brook University... I don't have a title for it yet. I have a few in
mind but nothing is set.
FYI - Possible music
video coming soon. Yes, you read that correct.
We've choosen "It's So Clear" to be our song of choice for this video,
so I guess you could say that's our single for the EP we're releasing
as well? Yeah, there's no date for that... Maybe the day of the SBU
show... also, a possible show at Hofstra University in December.
