Astoria Bakery is family run and
owned Italian bakery.
Our story begins June 1967 when Salvatore Tomasello, an Italian
immigrant from Palermo Sicily, and Jack Chiello, an Italian born
American citizen, had a dream of showcasing their love for
baking.
They decided to combine their various skills and create a
storefront.
America was the land of opportunity for them. Both with their
hard work and determination have established the true American
Dream growing their idea from just a few family members to a
business with clients all over Queens and New York City.
