Every other year, I
drive down the JFK exit from the Belt Parkway reading the
terminal signs of the airlines, searching for
Aerolíneas Argentina. An eleven hour
flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina, prepares me for the next
incredible weeks I get to spend with my family.
Now, imagine waking up to
medialunas
(croissants) and coffee at a quaint, European coffee shop
situated in an ivy-covered garden. Spend your day walking around
exquisite neoclassical French architecture through the
neighborhood of
Recoleta. Stop for lunch at a patio in
trendy
Palermo and spend your dollars at the many luxury
high-fashion boutique shops, like Maria Cher. Enjoy the juiciest
steak of your life at La Cabrera with a glass of Malbec. Dance
the night away at the socialite river-front club Asia de Cuba on
Puerto Madero. And of course, enjoy a enriched culture
expressed through the delicate steps of
Tango
en
El Caminito.
Spain

Land of the
siesta, daily
life in Spain moves slowly and runs until late. Many travelers
can get frustrated at the limited store hours and seemingly
laid back pace of life. But it’s this Spanish perspective –
move slowly, enjoy yourself, eat well, and relax – which gives
the country so much character. Spain is a beautiful,
interesting, and dynamic country.
Madrid and
Barcelona
are hip and energetic cities.
Ibiza is a
discoteca on an island. However,
Malaga
is where I go to relax from sightseeing and visit my
family.
