• In 2014, Tri Delta made one of the single largest commitments by a St. Jude partner, pledging $60 million in 10 years. In honor of this commitment, St. Jude named its on-campus, short-term housing facility Tri Delta Place.

• In 2010, Tri Delta successfully completed its $10 million in 10 years commitment in just 4 years to name the Bone Marrow Transplant Patient Care Floor.
• In 2005 Tri Delta raised $1 million to endow the hospital’s teen room.
• Tri Delta has raised more than $75 million to support St. Jude during our 21 year partnership!
  

Philanthropy Events

Across North America, Tri Delta Chapters hold fun events to raise money for St. Jude. Adelphi Tri Delta holds many amazing philanthropy events to benefit St. Jude. One of our main events is Tri Dente, our annual pasta dinner with unlimited pasta, fun games and prizes, and raffles. We also hold Strut for St. Jude, our annual body positive fashion show that invites people to strut their stuff on the runway in whatever makes them feel comfortable, with performances from different clubs at Adelphi, refreshments and a raffle.

Information About St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

At St. Jude, family's never receive a bill! That is part of what makes St. Jude so magical. Family's will never receive a bill for transportation, treatment, meals, or housing at St. Jude. St. Jude is one of the largest pediatric cancer hospitals in the world, and treats about 8,600 patients each year. Since the hospital opened in 1962, St. Jude has been able to increase the overall survival rate for a child with cancer from just 20% to more than 80% today! The amazing work and research that St. Jude does is all thanks to generous donations.

• 1 Plasma Transfusion = $65
• 1 Red Blood Cell Transfusion = $260
• 1 Chest X-Ray = $320
• 1 Day of Oxygen = $447
• 1 Day of Chemotherapy = $1,474
