Lillian’s Caribbean Grill Cruzzin’s Carribean Restaurant and Bar Agave Terrace (Point Pleasant Resort) Duffy's Love Shack

Lillian’s Caribbean Grill:
This Grill dishes up local specialties with a very small sampling of items like burgers and ribs. This is your chance to try things like pigtail, stewed oxtail, goat water, souse, and other exotic treats. Folks with less adventurous appetites might prefer red snapper fried or in butter sauce or the chicken curry. The menu changes daily. Lillian’s location right at the head of the Main Street shopping district keeps you from braving Charlotte Amalie’s back streets in search of a good West Indian lunch.

Cruzzin’s Carribean Restaurant and Bar
You will find this charming neighborhood restaurant brimming with customers. Old red brick walls, a holdover from days when the building served as a stable, serve as the backdrop for works by local artists. Curries and local seafood dishes are the specialty. Try the conch, lobster and fish, and dishes like Cuzzin Nemo, a seafood assortment with a spicy sauce served over pasta. Sample a local beverage like sea moss (a milky drink made from seaweed,) maubi (made from bark and spices) and ginger beer (tastes like it sounds.)

Agave Terrace (Point Pleasant Resort)
This lovely cliffside restaurant epitomizes tropical dining. The friendly but elegant atmosphere is outdone only by the excellent cuisine. Agave Terrace is known for its seafood specialties. Try the local lobster or the catch of the day prepared with your choice of sauce and style. The restaurant has a menu just for children, who are welcome here. It has won six gold medals, including the Best Overall award, from Chaine des Rotisseurs and an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. A steel drum band usually plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Duffy's Love Shack:
This crazy place has been named the ultimate tropical drink shack and the offerings will not disappoint. The party-hearty ambience is definitely tropical with a thatch roof bar and leopard prints on the seats. Creative drinks are the rule, from the 50-ounce flaming Volcano to the Revenge of Godzilla, served in a big, green take-home cup. Food is just as colorful. You can cook your own meat with the flaming pupu platter, or eat already-prepared jerk chicken, grilled mahi-mahi or gourmet burgers. Every night has a different theme. No credit cards are accepted.
