People and The Stars
The Although not the most reliable way to
relay history, a lot of tradition was passed down verbally for
many cultures around the globe. Many of these
stories used the stars to tell myths as well. However, because it
was rare for any specific details to be recorded some of the stars
that are referred to in
stories can easily be mistaken for others.
For example, if a story talks about three stars lined up in a row,
what would seem like the obvious group of stars would be the
Orion Tri-Stars. What if they were simply looking at different
stars we cannot see with the amount of light pollution we have
today (or tonight) ?
