Here
at Adelphi, we have two titles. We are both a spirit
group and an athletic team. What is the job of a
cheerleader? It seems pretty self-explanatory if you
look at the name. Yes, one of our key responsibilities
is to cheer on the Adelphi community, both athletic and
non-athletic. However, we are made up of more than
chants, bows, and pom poms. The Adelphi Cheerleading
team performs several times in the season, takes part in
community service, and, as of this year, began competing
at the National level. We are not only a team, but a
family as well.
