Mayday Parade is a rock band that formed in 2005 in Tallahassee, Florida. They have released three full length albums and two E.P.s They released their first E.P. "Tales Told By Dead Friends" in 2006 which sold 58,000 copies. In July of 2007 Mayday Parade released their first full length album called " A Lesson in Romantics" which was released on Fearless Records and sold over 200, 000 copies. After "A Lesson in Romantics they released 2009's "Anywhere But Here" which hit number thirty one on the Billboard Top 200 and sold over 199, 000 copies. Right before releasing there most recent album they released an E.P. titled "Valdosta" which reached number one hundred and twenty seven on the Billboard Top 200. Their most recent album is a self titled album called "Mayday Parade" which reached number 12 on the Billboard Top 200 and sold over 75, 000 copies. They are currently working on their fourth full length album which will be released in the Fall of 2013 on Fearless Records.
Mayday Parade have their songs on several compilation CD's such as the "Punk Goes..." series, the Take Action! series and are on several Warped Tour compilation CD's. They have also played many music festivals such as the Vans Warped Tour, the Soundwave Festival in Australia, the Slam Dunk Festival in the UK, as well as the Give It A Name Festival in the UK.
Mayday Parade have shared the stage with several bands such as The Plain White Tee's, All Time Low, The Maine, Every Avenue, The Academy Is, You Me At Six, A Rocket to the Moon, Set Your Goals, We The Kings, We Are the In Crowd and more.
