Gon Freecs aspires to become a
hunter in order to understand the reason his father became a
hunter. In order to become a professional Hunter, he must pass
the Hunter Examination, where he meets and befriends three other
applicants: Killua, Kurapika and Leorio. Along the way, they
learn what it means to be a Hunter and acquire new found power
