Read Section 9.3 of the Brase text, pages 573-582.
Do the following guided exercises from the Brase text (do not submit):
  • Guided Exercise 7 on page 577
  • Guided Exercise 8 on pages 581-582
    Do the following exercises (submit through Moodle or in class):
  • [10 pts.] From Brase Textbook: For page 586 #10c, show that Se is about 2.5 using either Equation 7 on page 573 or Equation 8 on page 574. Must show all calculations to receive credit. (Note: The first step is to write the regression line using the given a and b values. You do not need to show how a and b were found.)
  • [40 pts.] From Brase Textbook: page 586 #10efg


    Part Two: Assigned Tu 5/10, Due M 5/16 at 6:00pm
    --Submit your assignment on Moodle OR under my office door (Science 409) OR in my mailbox (Science 213).
    --I will post solutions Monday evening 5/16, so NO late assignments will be accepted for ANY reason.
    Read Section 10.1 of the Brase text, up to page 632.
