  • Read Section 11.1 of the PD text & pages 125-129 of the CN text. (relates to today's class)
  • Read Section 11.2 of the PD text & pages 130-132 of the CN text. (relates to next class)
    Required exercises (relates to today's class):
  • Do page 488 exercise 11.2a [4 pts.]
  • Do page 488 exercise 11.4 [20 pts.]
  • Do pages 491-492 exercise 11.14ab [6 pts.]
  • Do page 493 exercise 11.17 (calculate CI only) [Note: The answer is in the back of the book so you will be graded solely on the work you show (i.e. calculations) and not your answer.] [15 pts.]
  • Do CN Page 134 #14 [15 pts.]
    --Add your name (first and last) as a footnote for each graph using the directions given in the second paragraph of CN page 17.
    --Submit your output file through Moodle or submit a printout.
    --Use the techniques presented in SPSS Session 12 to answer the given research question. Justify your conlcusions by citing appropriate test statistics and P-values. Explain your choice of test procedure. Use alpha = .05. Submit your answer typed in Microsoft Word. It must be at least 2 full sentences.
