Part Two: Graded Portion
In a Microsoft Word file uploaded to Moodle with a filename of hw2-LastName, where LastName is replaced by your last name:
1. [30 pts. total] Type Sections B and C of the Interactive Summary:
  • Type up the whole paragraph for each section, not just the words for the blanks.
  • For each blank, fill in the missing word and make it bold and underlined. Do not draw a box around it. Make sure nothing extra is bold and underlined, such as space before or after the word.
    2. [30 pts. total] Answer each question in one or more full sentences:
  • a) Describe what sampling rate is & what effect it has on sound quality.
  • b) Describe analog data and digital data. (Refer back to Section 1.A)
  • c) Is a digital camera's CCD (charge-coupled device) an example of an analog-to-digital converter or is it an example of a digital-to-analog converter? Explain your answer.
