1. [50 pts. total] Answer each question in one or more full sentences. Make sure to address all parts of the question in your response. For full credit, run Spell and Grammar Check & make the appropriate corrections before submitting your work!:
  • a) What is the Internet? What is the World Wide Web? What is the difference between the Internet and the World Wide Web?
  • b) What does the acronym URL stand for? What is the first part of a URL (that appears before WWW) and what does it indicate?
  • c) Define "Short URL". Give an example of a Short URL and the full URL of the page it links to.
  • d) Give 3 examples of web browsers. Name the one you use most often and explain why you use it most often.
  • e) What is the browser cache? What is the purpose of having a browser cache? Why would you want to clear your browser cache?

    In a separate Microsoft Excel file uploaded to Mindtap:
    3. [50 pts.] In the Excel Folder on Mindtap, complete Excel Module 1 SAM Applied Project 1a (refer to Excel Module 1 from the textbook as needed).
