1. [60 pts. total] Answer each question in one or more full sentences:
a) Is pipeline processing slower of faster than serial processing? Is pipeline processing slower or faster than parallel processing? Give a reason for each answer.
b) What are the 3 main types of storage technology? How is data represented for each of the 3 types? Give an example of each of the 3 types.
c) What does the acronym RAM stand for? What does the acronym ROM stand for? Describe what RAM and ROM are. Then, name a difference between RAM and ROM.
d) There are 3 ways to describe the dimension of a screen: aspect ratio, screen size, and screen resolution. Describe what each of the 3 terms mean & give an example of each.

2. [40 pts.] In the PowerPoint Folder on Mindtap, complete PowerPoint Module 1 Textbook Project 2 (as you fully read PowerPoint Module 1 Section 2, parts 1-15 to 1-20). *For the first half of 1-15, skip the first section "To open the revised presentation:" and instead open the file from Mindtap.*
