In a Microsoft Word file uploaded to Moodle with a filename of hw4-LastName, where LastName is replaced by your last name:
1. [ 5 pts. total ] Type your name (first and last) and the date on the first line of your file.
2. [ 5 pts. total ] Type the course number (CSC 170-001), and the homework number (HW4) on the next line.
3. [ 5 pts. total ] Select a topic relating to your major and describe it in a full sentence.
4. [10 pts. total] Find two resources relating to the topic you chose using scholar.google.com. Indicate what you typed in to the search bar to find your sources.
5. [10 pts. total] Find two more resources relating to the topic you chose using the databases provided by the Adelphi Univesity Libraries. Indicate what you typed in to the search bar to find your sources.
6. [20 pts. total] Perform the CRAAP test on each of the 4 resources listed in Steps 4 & 5. For each of the 4 resources, summarize the results of the CRAAP test in one or two sentences.
7. [30 pts. total] Write a one-page summary (200-400 words) of the topic you chose. Include in-text citations as appropriate and have at least two in-text citations.
8. [15 pts. total] Include a works cited page using MLA (if your major/topic is in the arts or humanities) or APA (if your major/topic is in the sciences).
