Part I
Answer the following questions about the TI-84 calculator in full sentences in a single Microsoft Word file named hw8-LastName.doc (where LastName is replaced by your last name):
[2 pts.] 1. Use the TI-84 to find the equation of the parabola that passes through the points (1,8), (4,-1), and (5,0). Explain how you found your answer.
[2 pts.] 2. Use the TI-84 to solve #31 from the January 2019 Algebra 1 Regents.
[3 pts.] 3. In 2 or 3 paragraphs (about 250 to 500 words), give your opinion as to what grade level (5th, 8th, 10th, etc.) or course (Ex: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, etc.) you feel students should first be allowed to use a graphing calculator (like the TI-84) and describe the reason(s) for your answer. Also, state whether you feel students should be able to use the graphing calculator always or sometimes during the first year that they are allowed to use it, and again describe the reason(s) for your answer.

Part II
[3 pts.] Use the TI-84 to complete the attached handout. Submit the handout as a picture or PDF file, with the filename hw8.II-LastName.
