Assigned Tue Sep 28, due Tue Oct 5
Answer the following questions in a single Excel file (with multiple sheets/tabs) named hw4-LastName.xls (where LastName is replaced by
your last name):
1. [ 1 pt. ] Use the Excel function PI() to find PI to 6 decimal places.
2. [3 pts.] For the function f(x) = cos x:
a) Set up a table of values with 2 columns: x & f(x). For the x-values, use 0, 30π/180, 60π/180, ..., 330π/180, 2π. For the f(x) values, make sure they are accurate to 8 decimal places.
b) Graph y = cos x on [0, 2π].
3. [ 2 pts. ] Solve #12 from the January 2019 Algebra 1
Regents (using Regression).
4. [4 pts.] Use the data below, for the raw test score based on the hours tutored, to answer the questions that follow (round all values to the nearest hundredth).
