 [80 pts.] Chapter 4A
  • Read Sections 4.1-4.4 of the textbook.
  • (10 pts.)Do Multiple Choice Questions #1-5 on pages 115-116.
  • (20 pts.)Do Discussion Questions #2abc on page 117.
  • (20 pts.)Do Programming Exercise #3 on page 118 in a shell file. Make sure to type your name as a comment on the first line! Submit your shell file with the filename "face-LASTNAME.py"
  • (30 pts.)Implement the design of a program to make a 2x2 checkerboard with 4 squares of equal size. Use the template on Moodle. Make sure to put your name for the comments on the first two lines. Submit the module file with the filename hw3_mini_checkerboard_LASTNAME.py and a shell file with at least two tests of the program with the filename hw3_test_LASTNAME.py


    Submitting your Assignment
  • For the Multiple Choice and Discussion questions, you can submit them on paper in class or through the HW3 link on Moodle using the filename "hw3paper-LASTNAME".
  • For the remaining exercises, follow the submission directions given for each question.
