CSC 160 Announcements

8/20/12: The first class is on Wednesday August 29th.
8/29/12: Quiz 1 (covering Chapter 1) will be given in class on Wednesday 9/12.
9/17/12: Quiz 2 (covering Chapter 2 and 3.1-3.4) will be given in class on Monday 9/24.
9/17/12: On Wednesday 9/26, there will be no class or office hours. They will be made up on the "make-up day" (Wed 12/12) at the end of the semester.
10/7/12: Quiz 3 (covering Sections 3.5-5.4) will be given in class on Wednesday 10/10.
10/10/12: The Midterm Exam is scheduled for Wednesday 10/24.
10/28/12: On Monday 10/29, there will be no class or office hours due to the University Closing for Hurricane Sandy. Makeup arrangements will be announced at a later date.
10/31/12: On Monday 10/29 and Wednesday 10/31, there will be no class or office hours due to the University Closing for Hurricane Sandy. Makeup arrangements will be announced at a later date.
11/1/12: The makeup for 10/29 will be on Wed 11/21, previously the first day of Thanksgiving Recess, at the regular time. Makeup arrangements for 10/31 will be announced at a later date.
11/3/12: Adelphi will reopen on Monday 11/5 and this class will meet at the regular time.
11/5/12: Quiz 4 will be given in class on Wednesday 11/14.
11/14/12: The 3 cancelled classes this semester will be made up as follows:
  • The September 26th missed class will be made up on Wed 12/12 (originally an Emergency/Study Day)
  • The October 29th missed class will be made up on Wed 11/21 (originally the first day of Thanksgiving Break)
  • The October 31st missed class will be made up by two take-home labs: (CW4) and (CW7).
    11/19/12: Quiz 5 (probably the last quiz of the semester) will be given in class on Wednesday 11/28.
    11/28/12: The final exam will be on Wednesday December 19th from 3:30-5:30pm in our regular classroom.
