CSC 160 Fall 2009 - Homework 4
Assigned T 9/29, due Th 10/8
Read Chapters 4-5 of the textbook.
Do the following exercises on pages 138-140 of the textbook:
45 Points: Exercise 4.1 (have the program only work for distances of
0-10 meters, excluding 0 and including 10)
45 Points: Exercise 4.4 (have the program ask the user how many verses
to play, and then play that number of verses - having the character
say the line is sufficient for full credit)
10 Points: Use of correct
filenames. Extra Credit: In exercise 4.4, get the charcter to
"sing" a recording with the appropriate tune. (10 points)
Submitting your Assignment
You must submit one file for each exercise through Moodle.
Be sure to include your first and
last name as a comment in the first line of each file.
For full credit, the file for Exercise 4.1 must be named
"hw4[LastName]4.1.a2w" where [LastName] is replaced with your last
name.
(For example, if I were submitting this
assignment, I would name the file
"hw4Wittenstein4.1.a2w")
Note that you do not type in the .a2w part but it is added in
automatically by Alice after you have saved the file.
The filenames for the other exercises should have the same name
except that the 4.1 is changed to the correct exercise number.
