CSC 160 Fall 2009 - Homework 1
Assigned Th 9/3, due Th 9/10

Read Chapter 1 of the textbook (if you have not already done so).

Do the following exercises on page 29 of the textbook:
  • Exercise 1.2 (40 points)
  • Exercise 1.4 (60 points)
  • Extra Credit: Exercise 1.9 (20 points)



    • Submitting your Assignment
  • You must submit one file for each exercise through Moodle.
  • Be sure to include your first and last name as a comment in the first line of each file.
  • For full credit, the file for Exercise 1.2 must be named "hw1[LastName]1.2.a2w" where [LastName] is replaced with your last name. (For example, if I were submitting this assignment, I would name the file "hw1Wittenstein1.2.a2w")
  • Note that you do not type in the .a2w part but it is added in automatically by Alice after you have saved the file.
  • The filenames for Exercises 1.4 and 1.9 should have the same name but the 1.2 is changed to the correct exercise number.
