CSC 160 Announcements
8/20/08: The first class is on Monday August 25.
8/28/08: There will be no class on Monday September 1st (Labor Day).
9/3/08: Quiz 1, covering Chapter 1, will be given in class on Wednesday 9/10.
9/11/08: The office hour is cancelled on Monday September 15th.
9/15/08: Quiz 2, covering Chapters 2-4, will be given in class on
Wednesday 9/24.
9/17/08: This class WILL meet on Monday September 29th at the regular
class time. For those who cannot attend then, a makeup class will be held
on Sunday October 5th from 3:00-4:15pm. (So there will be no makeup class
on Tuesday December 9th.)
9/17/08: There will be no class on Wednesday October 1st and Wednesday
October 8th, as per the University Calendar.
10/6/08: The Midterm Exam will be on Wednesday October 22nd in class.
10/13/08: Quiz 3 (covering Chapter 5 and Sections 7.1-7.6)
will be given on Wednesday October 15th in class.
10/13/08: The due date for HW4 is
postponed until Wednesday October 15th.
10/23/08: Midterm Exam Grades and Solutions are posted on Moodle.
10/23/08: An extra credit assignment has been
posted for students who scored below 80 on the Midterm Exam.
10/30/08: Quiz 4 (covering Sections 8.1-8.2, 9.1-9.4, and
10.1-10.5) will be given on Monday November 3rd in class.
11/2/08: Quiz 4 (covering Sections 8.1-8.2, 9.1-9.4, and
10.1) will be given on Monday November 3rd in class.
11/3/08: Quiz 5 (covering Chapters 10-12) will be given on
Wednesday November 12th in class.
11/12/08: There will be no class on Wednesday November 26th
due to Thanksgiving Recess.
11/24/08: Quiz 6, covering Chapters 12, 14, 15, and 16 (but emphasizing
Chapter 15), will be given in class on
Wednesday 12/3.
11/27/08: This class will meet on Monday December 8th, Study Day. (This is
to make up for the October 8th holiday.)
11/27/08: This class will not meet on Tuesday December 9th, Conversion
Day. (This is because we met on the September 29th holiday.)
11/27/08: The last class meeting of the semester is on Wednesday December
10th.
11/27/08: The final exam will be on Wednesday December 17th from
3:30-5:30pm in
our regular classroom.
12/17/08: Semester grades are now available on Moodle and CLASS. Happy holidays!
