Corrections to HW5
For #2) The total cost should be the SELLING PRICE plus interest plus any
fees. Since I mistakenly announced in class and wrote on the homework that
total cost is PRINCIPAL plus interest plus any fees, I will give full credit to
students who wrote the program either of these two ways.
If you are doing the revisions, make sure you use the
SELLING PRICE and not the PRINCIPAL in finding total cost.
For #3) The last hint on the assignment should be replaced by:
--Hint: You can create an auxiliary function that moves a word from the front to the back
of a sentence You can also create an auxiliary function that moves a
letter from the front to back of a word. Then "use" either or both of
these functions to write the main function, front-to-back.
