8/21/06: The first class is on Tuesday August 29.
9/4/06: Quiz #1 will be on Thursday September 14.
9/5/06: For those interested in purchasing a hard copy of the How to
Design Programs textbook, it can be purchased used or new by clicking
here.
9/25/06: Quiz #2 will be on Thursday October 5.
9/27/06: On Thursday 9/28 ONLY, office hours will be from
2:00-3:00pm, instead of the usual time.
10/2/06 9:00am: Please note the bold font corrections in HW3.
10/2/06 8:45pm: The Blackboard server is down. You
cannot access it at this time.
10/3/06 11:30am: The Blackboard system has been fixed and is
working normally.
10/5/06: The Midterm Exam will be on Thursday October 19. An outline
of topics is now posted on Blackboard.
10/20/06: Midterm Exam grades are now posted. For students who received
less than 80 on the midterm, an extra credit assignment, hwX, has been posted.
10/26/06: Classes are NOT in session at Adelphi on Tuesday November 7.
There will also be no office hours on that day.
10/26/06: Quiz #3 will be on Tuesday November 14.

11/2/06: Please note the changes to HW5 that are in
bold font.
11/8/06: Classes are NOT in session at Adelphi on Thursday November 23.
There will also be no office hours on that day.
11/11/06: Please read this e-mail that I

11/14/06: The final exam for Section 01 (the 3:05 class) will
be on Thursday 12/21 from 3:30-5:30pm in the usual classroom.
11/14/06: The final exam for Section 02 (the 4:30 class) will
be on Tuesday 12/19 from 3:30-5:30pm in the usual classroom.
11/16/06 6:15pm: Please read over the updated lecture slides on Animations.
11/22/06: HW7 is posted.
11/26/06: Office hours are cancelled for Tuesday
November 28. However, both classes will meet at the usual time.
11/30/06: Our last official class meeting, and the
last day of regular office hours, is on
Thursday December 7th. Also, there will be an optional review session on
Thursday December 14th from 3:30-5:00pm in our usual classroom.
12/8/06: Solutions for HW7 are now posted on Blackboard.
12/8/06: Solutions for CW6 part 2 are now posted on Blackboard.
12/14/06 5:15pm: Several files have been added to the
solutions section on Blackboard are now posted on Blackboard.
12/18/06 9:30am: All HW9s have been graded and returned. Solutions for
both the regular and extra credit versions are now posted to the solutions
section on Blackboard.
12/21/06 5:50pm: All Fall 2006 course grades have
been posted to CLASS. Happy
