·      Pedophiles use social networks to find minors sexually attractive and use other methods to seduce them into having sex.

·      Social network platforms are mostly used to victimize pedophiles in case the public knows them.

- Adults first establish a trusting relationship with the minor in order to engage in sexual conduct (Cano, Fernandez, &Alani, 2014).

- Not all pedophiles are bad unless they attack a child; they should be given social media platform to show that they are not monsters, instead they are sick people in need of help (Weaver, 2018).

- Social networks are used to access data regarding the victims including what they like, their location, and pictures (Mitchell, Finkhello, Johnes, & Wolak, 2010).

- The notion that pedophiles use tricks and violence to lure kids into having sex is inaccurate (Wolak, Finkelhor, Michel, & Ybarra, 2008).
