Parents should not be involved because some do not
have enough
knowledge about their children's online activities so they
cannot be as
effective as schools or the government (Kite et al, 2010).

Argument #2: Some parents
are not even aware of what exactly cyberbullying is and how it
works so why should they get involved (Subrahmanyam
et al, 2008).
"Parents had a hard time penetrating their children's world and
often retreated, being unaware of what cyberbullying and what the
exact impacts of it were" (Subrahmanyam
et al, 2008, p. 135).
