We spoke in class about various disabilities that can lead someone into facing barriers in a variety of forms, as well as accommodations that can allow individuals to overcome these barriers.
Give yourself a tour of the Adelphi campus and see if you can spot three different potential barriers that could impede someone with a disability. Alternatively, see if you can spot accommodations provided on campus to help someone overcome that disability.
Write a 2-3 page paper about these barriers and/or accommodations.
